IRIS®

IRIS® is a leading instrument for quantitative diagnosis of breath tests. IRIS employs detectors of non-radioactive 13C-labelled stable isotope based on infra-red technology. Together IRIS® and Diabact® UBT provide a complete solution for diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori, the bacterium that is implicated in gastric ulcers and gastric cancers.

The IRIS® instrument is available in three different models, IRIS®-3, IRIS®-Doc and IRIS®-Lab and can be connected to the IRIS®-Multisampler for high throughput testing.

 

 

Applications

IRIS® instrument can be used in breath tests for the diagnosis of a number of disorders affecting the gastroenteric and hepatic systems, as well as in other areas of internal medicine. More than 20 tests can currently be run on the IRIS® system.
